3rd Annual Childhood Cancer Awareness Backyard Bash

This isn’t just an afternoon event anymore… we have an entire DAY packed with things to do, and whether you’re coming to play bags, win some incredible prizes, bring the kids, hang out with friends, or dance under the glow lights — there is truly something for everyone.

 11:00 AM — Bags Tournament Registration Opens

 12:00 PM — Bags Tournament Begins

Then starting at 3:00 PM, the Backyard Bash REALLY gets going!

 Liquor Pull (Currently at 75 Bottles Whiskey/Spirits/Wines)
 Raffles & Big-Ticket Prizes
 HUGE Premium Meat Prizes
 Grab Bag Wall (Over 50 different GC's right now Ranging from $25.00 - $250.00)
 Bounce House
 Tie-Dyeing
 Card Making (Will be delivered to the kiddo's after our event)
 Bracelet Making
 Outdoor Family Games

 4:00 PM — TOUCH-A-TRUCK!
We are so excited to welcome the McHenry County Sheriff’s Department, along with CM Wiltberger II with a few of their HUGE Trucks, for an awesome Touch-a-Truck experience for the kids and families!

 6:30 PM — S’MORES BAR OPENS

 7:00–8:00 PM — GLOW PARTY!

We’re closing out the night with lights, music, dancing and one BIG glow party!

 And our DJ BROOKELYN CALDERON with DJ Felix Entertainment will be keeping the music, fun and energy going throughout the afternoon and evening!

Come early. Stay late. Bring the kids. Bring your friends. Make a day of it.

Play backyard games. Win prizes. Dance to the DJ. Try your luck at the raffles. Check out the trucks. Hit the bounce house. Make something with the kids. Grab a s’more. Then stick around and GLOW with us as the sun goes down. 

And while we’re having an incredible day together, we’ll also be raising awareness and critical funds to support children and teens courageously battling cancer and the families walking beside them.

Every raffle ticket. Every bags team. Every purchase. Every person who shows up helps Hope for Courage continue providing personalized Warrior Packages and meaningful support to families facing the unimaginable.

Because childhood cancer takes enough.
Childhood should still have laughter.
It should still have fun.
It should still have moments that feel normal.
And it should always have Hope.
