Description
Walk for the kids who carry more than we can see.
Join us for Miles in Their Shoes — a powerful community walk that raises awareness and support for children in foster care or crisis right here in McHenry County.
The event begins with a silent lap to honor unheard stories and ends with a solidarity lap walked together — a visual reminder that no child should walk alone.
Participants are encouraged to walk as much as they are able. Each loop is approximately ⅓ mile, and every step is a statement of support.
Proceeds support the work of Kids In Need of McHenry County, providing essential resources, emergency support, and dignity to children who need it most.
