Prost to summer at Das Fest Wisconsin, the ultimate German-American celebration taking place from June 25–27, 2027, at the Kenosha County Fairgrounds in Wilmot, Wisconsin. Located just across the Illinois border, this lively three-day festival features non-stop entertainment across multiple stages, including German and American bands, traditional alphorns, and ethnic dance troupes. Visitors can indulge in authentic German fare and American staples, perfectly paired with imported German biers, regional craft brews, and local wines. The festival's signature attraction is the famous Little Leg Races, where hundreds of Dachshunds and Corgis compete for glory across all three days.
NEW for 2027 is the Haus & Garten Show where you'll find an array of home improvement displays, expert local landscapers, innovative yard decor, and inspiring ideas to elevate your indoor and outdoor living spaces. This exciting addition complements a packed family-friendly weekend featuring a free kids' zone, a live magic show, high-energy Bingo, stein-hoisting competitions, and an artisan shopping marketplace with authentic German imports.
Admission is only $5 for guests ages 16 and older (ages 15 and under enter free), and plenty of free general parking is available on-site. Best of all, Das Fest is operated entirely by passionate volunteers, with profits from the event distributed to multiple local charitable organizations, making every PROST! count for a great cause.
