Description
The Richmond Cemetery offers a window into the Village of Richmond’s rich and fascinating history. Follow a docent on a guided tour and take a unique look into the town’s intriguing past. You’ll meet costumed Re-enacters and narrators, and learn about influential and notable people who shaped Richmond, Illinois into what it is today.
Tours will meet at the Richmond Grade School parking lot directly across the street from the cemetery, at the corner of Broadway Road and McConnell Drive.
*Tours will occur Rain or Shine*
Please note, this is a walking tour. All attendees must be capable of walking over uneven terrain and standing for approximately 1 hour. It is advisable to wear comfortable footwear.
Tour groups are limited to 20 people.
