Paul Nelis is the President and CEO of CMIT Solutions Chicago Northwest. With 35 years of experience in IT there are very few things Paul has not done in IT. Having recently spent time as CIO and interim CISO for Akumin, a $750 million diagnostic imaging company, he decided to make a difference closer to home, so he opened up a CMIT Solutions franchise to serve businesses in Lake, McHenry, and Kane counties. With CMIT, Paul is now able to leverage his expertise to help secure, and accelerate the pace of growth for local businesses throughout the communities of Chicago Northwest.

Pat Smarto is the Managing Broker and Owner of Lakes Realty Group, a locally owned brokerage serving western Lake County and eastern McHenry County. A long-time resident and active community advocate, Pat combines deep market expertise with a passion for helping clients make confident real estate decisions—on and off the water. She also serves as Chair of the Fox Waterway Advisory Committee, promoting stewardship of the Chain O’ Lakes.
