Position Overview
The PtG Community Center seeks an inspiring and strategic leader to serve as its part-time Executive Director. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape and advance a dynamic community organization dedicated to creating inclusive spaces for connection and growth. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will oversee key areas including organizational development, fundraising, community engagement, and operational management. This position is ideal for a passionate professional driven to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

Organizational Leadership & Development

• Partner with the Board of Directors to implement the organization’s vision, mission, and goals.
• Foster collaborative relationships with board members, volunteers, and community partners.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with strategic priorities.

Fundraising & Resource Development

• Lead donor cultivation, grant writing, sponsorships, and capital campaigns.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, foundations, corporations, and partners.
• Manage donor communications and recognition to ensure sustained support.

Community Engagement & Communication

• Act as the public face of PtG Community Center, building awareness and support.
• Develop and execute communication strategies, including social media and newsletters.
• Strengthen partnerships with local leaders, businesses, and civic organizations.

Event Planning & Program Oversight

• Plan and execute fundraising events and community programs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on early-phase development of the Adventure Playground and Community Center.
• Coordinate volunteers, logistics, and partnerships for successful event implementation.

Financial & Operational Management

• Ensure financial sustainability through effective budgeting and resource allocation.
• Maintain compliance with financial controls and organizational policies.
• Oversee the adoption and maintenance of technology and operational tools.

Qualifications

• A deep passion for building community and fostering inclusive spaces.
• Proven leadership experience in nonprofit management or community development.
• Successful track record in fundraising, donor relations, and event planning.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in technology tools, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for events.

Salary/Benefits: 20 hours per week, $30 an hour.
