Mercyhealth welcomes cardiologist

CRYSTAL LAKE and HARVARD, Illinois—Mercyhealth is pleased to welcome Danny Cho, DO, cardiologist, to Mercyhealth Heart and Vascular Center–Crystal Lake, 875 S. Route 31, Crystal Lake, and Mercyhealth Heart and Vascular Center–Harvard, 1001 Grant St., Harvard.

“One focus of my care is preventive medicine, helping patients optimize the management of chronic conditions to reduce the risk of future complications,” said Dr. Cho. “I want my patients to truly understand their conditions so that they know how and why we approach treatment the way we do. My goal is to have open conversations and be available to help minimize any confusion and uncertainty throughout their care.”

After earning his medical degree at Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Downers Grove, IL, Dr. Cho served an internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowhip at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge, IL. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
