Step back into the 1930s at the McConnell Ball and Support Local History!
Step into the spotlight for an unforgettable evening inspired by the Golden Age of Hollywood---
McConnell Ball
Saturday, April 11, 2026 | 7 pm-10 pm
Richmond Cafe | Richmond, Illinois
Gowns and tuxedos are warmly encouraged—we do love a little red-carpet flair!—but not required. Come as you feel fabulous. Enjoy a festive evening of cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, a lively silent auction, and an exclusive 1930s exhibit that captures the magic of Hollywood’s most iconic era.
And the highlight of the evening? We will be honoring a truly remarkable community member— beloved former Richmond Grade School teacher Ann Johonnott Katzenberg of Richmond, whose family arrived circa 1840 in Solon Mills.
TICKETS can be purchased online at wamcconnellfoundation.org/events
General Admission tickets: $60/each OR $110/two tickets Includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, two drink tickets, parting gift
VIP tickets: $80/each Includes same as General Admission, PLUS early admission (6:30 pm), a guided tour of the Richmond Cafe (including the upstairs), and a signature drink.
